The Stabilisation Platform (SPF) strengthens the Federal Foreign Office’s efforts in crisis and conflict regions worldwide. The Stabilisation Platform was established as a proprietary brand in 2021 on behalf of the Federal Foreign Office and is hosted by GIZ. A smaller advisory team has been supporting the Federal Foreign Office since the late 2010s. The SPF brings together experienced experts to support the Federal Foreign Office in developing, planning and steering projects in complex crisis situations. The SPF is a flexible organisational unit that is allocated with resources based on the needs of the Federal Foreign Office.
