What is it about?

The Stabilisation Platform (SPF) strengthens the German Federal Foreign Office’s efforts in crisis and conflict regions worldwide. It helps to ensure that the Federal Foreign Office remains effective locally, even in conflict-hit regions, and that it can safeguard the interests of Germany and Europe. Through its work, the SPF supports the Federal Foreign Office across the globe in seeking solutions to violent conflicts and managing humanitarian crises. It provides assistance to Federal Foreign Office’s projects in partner countries that aim to curb the influx of recruits to terrorist groups, strengthen the political and social participation of the population and combat organised crime.
